Pressure group 'Justice For Northern Ireland Veterans' are expected to form up from as early as 8:00am to protest Jeremy Corbyn's presence in the town.
The local organiser for the demonstration Vern Tilbury said "Jeremy corbyn is in Barnstaple, as veterans of Northern Ireland, we are demonstrating against him due to his support for the IRA while British Soldiers were being killed out there, I served in 1978_79 and 1982, so I'm holding this demo to show what a traitor he is to this country"
The telegraph revealed recently that MI5 did open a file on Jeremy Corbyn amid concerns over his links to the IRA, the Labour leader was investigated over fears that he could have been a threat to national security at a time when he was supporting convicted terrorists and campaigning for a unified Ireland, you can read that story (here)
Justice For Northern Ireland Veterans are a protest group not to be taken lightly, they mobilised thousands at a earlier demonstration this year in London against the malicious prosecution of Dennis Hutchings (66) who has been charged with attempted murder and grievous bodily harm 43 years after an incident took place in Northern Ireland.

The claims had been investigated on several occasions since. These investigations were conducted by the Director of Public Prosecutions in 1974/75 and the Historical Enquiries Team of the Police Service of Northern Ireland between 2008 and 2011. Dennis Hutchings was exonerated on both occasions of any wrongdoing.
The politics of Jeremy Corbyn will see a lot more veterans unfairly subjected to this politically motivated witch hunt at the hands his colleagues in Sinn Fien IRA.
It's not the first time this year Jeremy Corbyn has been challenged by former service personnel, Northern Ireland Veteran Robert Grey went after him in May at his York rally: (Read Here)
